15th Hole Development Work
Members will have noticed some work in progress at and around the lake to the right of the 15th tee and fairway.
A pump has been installed to aerate the water in the lake and keep it vegetation free, this water agitation and
some manual removal of vegetation should keep the lake clean and algae free into the future.
A second pump has been installed in a sump where the water leaves the golf course. This pump will maintain water level’s lower than they can naturally be maintained and it is expected that this removal of water will assist in keeping our course drier through the wetter periods.
These two projects were generously funded by two members who wish to remain anonymous.
The Club wishes to thank both members for their generous contribution.
Some further landscaping to the right of the lake will be completed in the next few days weather permitting, this work will further enhance this area.
