Updated Autumn League Leaderboard.
The 2010 A.I.B. sponsored Autumn League is set up for an exciting finale next weekend. After this weekend’s competition (week 5 of 6) the top 3 on the leaderboard are separated by just 2 points. Jimmy Murray who had gone quiet in weeks 3 & 4 bounced back with an impressive win this week and the 15pts have moved Jimmy into a 1 point lead over Enda Corr. Jimmy’s score was more remarkable given that he had opened with a ‘no score’ on the 1st and went on to cover the remaining 11 holes in just 2 over par. Liam Henry, despite getting 2nd prize in category 1, has slipped from 2nd to 3rd overall but remains firmly in contention 2 points behind Jimmy. Liam’s chances of an overall win are somewhat complicated by the fact that he has already registered the maximum 4 ‘counting’ scores out of the 6 weeks of the Autumn League. Liam will be hoping for a high finish next weekend to improve on the 5pts he gained in week 1. Sean Masterson & Robbie Grimes can also still mathematically win the league but will need to be placed in the top 3 next weekend to worry the current leaders.

99 Competitors took part in Round 4 of the 2010 A.I.B. Autumn League played over the back 9 holes due to frost on the 2nd, 5th & old 8th greens.

A.I.B. Autumn League Leaderboard
We have reached the halfway stage of the A.I.B. sponsored Autumn League. Robbie Grimes, on 28pts, leads the way so far with a 1st place in week 2 backed up by 3rd place this week. Robbie is closely followed by Enda Corr, Sean Masterson & Jimmy Murray who each have accumulated 25pts. Dan Maguire after his 2nd place finish this week is also in contention with 22pts. The other weekly winners, Leo Costello & Tommy 'Nak' McKiernan have failed to score in the other 2 competitions to date and remain on 15pts.
