Portuguese Amateur Open Championship
We wish Eddie McCormack the best of luck in the Portuguese Amateur Open Championship which starts today, Wednesday, at Montado Golf Club. Eddie has been selected by the Golfing union of Ireland to compete in Portugal alongside Alan Dunbar (Rathmore), Harry Diamond (Belvoir Park) and Eoin Arthurs (Forrest Little).

Table Quiz Result:
A very successful Table Quiz took place in the clubhouse on Friday 3rd of February, with a broad range of questions compiled by Seamus Murphy and Fergal Dunne. With over 30 tables taking part the eventual winners were Brendan Jennings, Brian O’Malley, Alan Lyons & Errol Stafford. 3 tables contested a tie break for 2nd place with Tony Prunty, Frank O’Brien, Martin Brady & Hubert Conaty emerging as runners-up whilst 3rd place went to Susan Downes, Seamus McConnon, Brian Fitzsimons & Liam Devine.
